“One Morning Journey” by Myra Alibrando
Aren't you curious what your life COULD BE? If you are reading you are breathing, and your story is not done. What more can God do, if you grab courage?
First, this week’s Nature Narration on inventing the mind of man.
Curiosity Sparks Creativity
Every single manmade invention in the world, is a reflection of God's creative power given to man.
Besides inventions are music, books, poems, scripts, bridges, and art. No animals have this boast, only mankind. God made us in His image this way.
Curiosity is Always Asking
I think creativity is the fruit of curiosity. Curiosity is always asking “Hey what is this?” and then we investigate asking more questions. While a cat may not ask itself “What if I was a dog?” a person does ask “What else could my life be?”
Questions Can Change Our Life More than Answers
There is a deeper level of curiosity molding our character: What if I could understand? What if I could help? What if I could make something for that? What if I could fix this? And that can be life-changing: What if God was willing to answer my request? What if I was willing to change for God in this too? What if I ask God today?
Fear Kills Curiosity and Creativity
Fear pushes back curiosity, as we turn back to defensive survival. All fearful people want is to not lose what they have. No need for curiosity, just maintain. Sadly, for them, life and growth stop.
If You Don’t Know Everything, You Should Still be Curious
As children, our curiosity was natural. As adults, courage is needed to continue being curious, to continue asking questions, to continue investigating, to continue empowering oneself with more abilities. Courageous curiosity profits us not only with hope but with the fruit of growing knowledge from that never-ending curiosity.
Only the courageous are willing to create a new idea. This is the stuff of every pioneering hero in history. Curiosity experiments with possible solutions even after failure, and this is impossible without courage. Courage overcomes fear of rejection. Courage overcomes fear of the unknown.
Children: Such is the Kingdom
Have you noticed how small children are so curious? They want to see what everything tastes like. They want to get into everything all the time. Children get yelled at for getting into things and places, but most have not learned fear. They crave exploration and knowing. As small children, our learning pace is the greatest. Seven and 8-year-olds are incredibly creative. They can draw a picture of a dog that doesn’t look like a dog but that doesn’t bother them. This energetic zeal provides rapid growth and progress . . . Curiosity, lack of fear, creativity.
I have much more to say about these matters.
Have a great week.
Thanks for the teaching sir which to learn more in the next lesson more strength of God
Thank you for your insight which has provoked me to ponder and contemplate. Keep on keeping on !
